Complete a 1 year course in 4 weeks on the Welsh Summer Course!

The summer course is a fast track course with the option of completing a whole level or even two levels of Welsh over a period of 4 weeks to 8 weeks.

Activities such as BBQ’s, trips and quizzes provide opportunities to socialise and practice speaking Welsh outside of the classroom.

The Centre saw record numbers attending the 2010 summer course with more than 70 local and international students in attendance.  

Jo Gray moved from England to Cardiff two years ago and attended the 2010 summer course. Jo said: ‘I enjoyed learning the language and I made many new friends. Adult Welsh lessons are a lot more fun than language lessons I remember from school, I’d recommend it to anyone’

This year’s summer course will start on the 4/7/2011.

Symudodd Jo Gray o Loegr i Gaerdydd ddwy flynedd yn ôl, ac fe fynychodd cwrs Haf 2010. Dywedodd Jo: ‘Fe wnes i fwynhau dysgu’r iaith a gwneud llawer o ffrindiau newydd. Mae gwersi Cymraeg i Oedolion yn llawer iawn mwy o hwyl na’r dosbarthiadau iaith dw i’n cofio o’r ysgol, byddwn i’n ei argymell i unrhyw un’

FREE Adult Learners Week events!

Adult Learners Week is nearly upon us and the Welsh for Adults Centre will be celebrating in style with many FREE events for you to attend!

We will be hosting our free Cymraeg Over a Cuppa events in various locations throughout the Vale of Glamorgan starting from the 18^th of May.  These events are very popular giving people the opportunity to join us for a cuppa, cake and chat about learning Welsh. We even throw in a free short taster session! Anyone attending the events will receive a goodie bag full of information about Welsh courses starting soon.

Our annual Baylingo event will take place again this year at the Wales Millennium Centre, Cardiff Bay on Sunday the 22^nd of May. We will provide FREE Welsh taster courses for adults and fun workshops for the children. The event is a fun day for the whole family! There will be many activities on the Glanfa stage as well as circus skills and arts and craft workshops.

You can just turn up on the day for these fun events – there’s something for everyone!

Gweithgareddau rhad ac AM DDIM, Wythnos Addysg Oedolion!

Mae Wythnos Addysg Oedolion yn agosáu, mi fydd Canolfan Cymraeg i Oedolion yn dathlu mewn steil gyda llawr o ddigwyddiadau rhad ac AM DDIM i chi fynychu!

Byddwn yn cynnal ein sesiynau Cymraeg a Chlonc mewn llawr o leoliadau yn y Fro yn cychwyn o’r 18 o Fai. Mae’r digwyddiadau hyn yn hynod o boblogaidd ac yn rhoi cyfle i bobl ymuno â ni am baned, cacen a chlonc ynglŷn â dysgu Cymraeg. Bydd pawb sy’n mynychu’r digwyddiad yn cael bag cotwm llawn gwybodaeth am ein cyrsiau.

Byddwn yn cynnal ein digwyddiad blynyddol - Baylingo yng Nghanolfan y Mileniwm, Bae Caerdydd ar ddydd Sul y 22ain o Fai. Bydd cyrsiau blasu Cymraeg AM DDIM ar gael i oedolion a gweithgareddau llawn hwyl i’r plant. Llawer o hwyl i’r teulu oll! Gweithgareddau ar lwyfan Glanfa, gweithdy sgiliau syrcas, celf a chrefft a llawer mwy!
